INVITATION: Habilitation lectures by Ágnes Györke

Dr. Ágnes Györke (associate professor, Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary) will give her habilitation lectures at 3 p.m. on Friday 8 March in Room 356. She will speak about the following two topics:

• Postcolonialism and Cultural Trauma (Reading: Zadie Smith, “The Embassy of Cambodia”, 2013)
• Affective Encounters: ’The Second World’ in Contemporary British Fiction
