Each year, the Embassy of Ireland in Hungary offers one or two small research grants for students specialising in Irish Studies. The applicant should be writing their BA, MA or PhD thesis on an Irish author, an Irish literary work, or a period or event of Irish history.

Over the past 10 years, our Irish Studies students have been successful in winning these grants. They have been to the National Library of Ireland, Trinity College Dublin, University College Dublin, and the Kerry Gaeltacht.
