The National Scientific Student Conference was organised for the 37th time, where our students represented the Department with excellent papers in the Humanities Section.

- Luca Borbála Makovinyi, "Neither Here nor There: The Cultural Hybridity of Second-Generation Immigrants in Jhumpa Lahiri's 'Interpreter of Maladies'" (supervisor: Kata Gyuris) — 3rd prize, HAAS special prize
- Fruzsina Anna Gintli, "'Fools of Nature': Természetes, természetellenes és természetfölötti a Hamletben" (supervisor: Natália Pikli) — 3rd prize
- Polin Denver, "A Woman Virtuous, A Woman Base: The Duality of Female Characters in English Jacobean Drama" (supervisor: Annamária Fábián)
- Hanna Helmle, "Selfhood Governed by Faith: Religion and Identity in Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's Purple Hibiscus" (supervisor: Kata Gyuris)
