Reading Cities from across the Globe
We are organizing an exciting summer course with Ágnes Györke and Ágnes Harasztos in the framework of ELTE Budapest Summer University!
“Urban Imaginaries: Reading Cities from across the Globe” is a 5-day ONLINE course between 15-19 July 2024 in urban cultural studies, focusing on cultural representations of three cities: London, Johannesburg and Budapest. Through various literary works and films, we are going to delve into how cities function differently in the Western world, the Global South and East-Central Europe.
