Did you know that South Africa has eleven official languages and three capitals? And that it is the only country to have two Nobel Prize winners who lived on the same street?

If you're interested in the history and culture of the southernmost country on the African continent, join our interactive board game on Researchers' Night! Together, we will explore the history of South Africa in the 20th and 21st centuries and the daily workings of the apartheid system based on racial segregation. We will also discover the gems of South African music, literature, and gastronomy.

Registration required:

The board game can be played by up to six people at a time, but more people are welcome in the audience (the audience can also snack and learn a lot about South Africa while playing). The game which starts at 5pm is already full, but you can still register for the session at 6:30pm by emailing gyuris.kata@btk.elte.hu.

Hosts:

Kata Gyuris and Lili Zách
