Dr. Győző Ferencz

He graduated from the Faculty of Humanities, ELTE, in 1973-1978. He received his PhD degree in 1997 and was appointed professor in 2014. He taught English, Irish and American poetry courses at the Department of English Studies, School of English and American Studies, ELTE, 1985-1986, and from 1993 to 2020. He was head of the department from 2005 to 2009 and head of the doctoral programme in Modern English and American Literature from 2014 to 2020.
